In Arkansas, there are 1,003 fire departments, but only 28 are staffed full-time. The remaining 974, like ours, rely on dedicated volunteers. Across the nation, only about 2,000 departments have earned an ISO Class 2 rating, and the Marmaduke Fire Department is proud to be one of them—an achievement shared by many full-time departments yet reached by our committed volunteer team.
Our greatest strength lies not in our equipment or facilities, but in the unwavering dedication of our volunteers.
